X100T DEAL (save $140)
If you are lusting after the Fujifilm X100T (as I am… especially after my X-E2 fell into the water and I’m desperately trying to dry it in rice right now 🙁 ), then you should take a look at this great deal on the X100T. DigitalRev is selling it for $1,159… this makes it $140 cheaper than at BHphoto, Adorama and AmazonUS.
But you don’t have much time to make your decision… the deal expires in less than 2 days.
I remind you that the price you see displayed at DigitalRev includes 1 year warrantey, free shipping, and they will cover all the duty and taxes. So what you see is the final price.

I just jumped on the DigitialRev deal! That is probably the lowest price (all in) that we will see for a while. Thanks for the heads up!
The price that it shows on my cart its 1299
It shows 1,159 in my cart (when I set DigitalRev to USA)
I see I was doing it ony phone it took me to the mobile site I went to the website and it does shoes at 1159 thank you. Question is this company in China ? Do they have a good reputation? I’ve never bought anything from them
DigitalRev is based in Hong Kong… Relatively safe buying from them.
RockyNook – Tried the Fuji50 coupon several times over the weekend and it didn’t work. All I want is the X-E2 book…
I contacted Rocky Nook and asked for clarification
They say it seems to work, since they have received orders with this code
Fuji cams are good but overpriced, for $1300 I can but many better cameras including FF Sony A7. For price of X-T1 even better.
Whatever. I doubt anyone really cares what camera you or I use. They are all good Fuji, Sony, Olympus, Nikon, Canon. Compared to what I started with, all these cameras a technological marvels. That said, they don’t really make anyone a better photographer. I can assure you that no matter what camera you have, you have to understand photography or your photos will be boring. Some of my best students still use a Pentax K1000 with the “kit” F2 50mm. An awful lot of the work I see on the internet is just terrible. But hey they have expensive cameras….
Honestly, based on a lot of what I’ve seen on the internet, most people would benefit from having to shoot B/W film with a el cheap F2 50mm lens for a few months to learn something about exposure and composition. It also helps to actually print your work. It’s a great learning process.
The X100T is a great camera BTW. I am actually buying a second one to use with the Wide Converter. Great deal from Digital Rev. Thanks for the heads up.
No need to hurry…it will drop by itself LOL.
It’s important to note that the DigitalRev warranty requires you either ship your camera to your local service center for an estimate, then request DR to pay it, OR send it directly to DR in Hong Kong. (At least Fujifilm USA will provide paid service on gray market cameras; Nikon, for one, does not.) Either way, if buying from the US you are looking at a likely longer turnaround time for service than with a US authorized dealer. Whether that is worth the $140 savings will depend on your personal tolerance for time without the camera. For me, it’s possible to nearly equal those savings buying from Crutchfield through Chase Ultimate Rewards, so for an extra ~$25 I’ll gladly take the USA warranty.
On a different topic, the $100 discount on the 18-135 lens is smaller than I would have expected. Even after the current discounts on buying the X-T1 body and 18-135 separately, the $2000 total is $100 more than the undiscounted price of the two when sold as a kit. I’m sure any discount is welcomed by those who already have the body, but for those who don’t and want both, the kit remains the best deal.
Still, overall these holiday discounts have been a great deal. I just stocked up on lenses and essentially saved enough to get one of them “for free”.
