First rumored, and now real: the great deal on the X-E2. You have time until May 31th to think about it. Here is what you can save:
You can get the body for $799 and at AmazonUS (just the silver version). At the moment it costs 50 bucks more ($849) at BHphoto (+SDcard, spare battery, 4%reward), AmazonUS, Adorama, Pictureline and DigitalRev.
The best price for the kit is the one at DigitalRev, they sell it for $1,119. The kit costs $1,199 at AmazonUS, Adorama (with freebies) and Pictureline, while BHphoto sells it for $1,249.
EU–citizens can grab the offer at DigitalRev, as the discount there is valid worldwide. So you can buy the body for €820 in Germany / £ 579 in UK, while the kit costs €1.000 in Germany / £739 in UK. You can also check out all the Fuji deals at PCHstore right now. The X-E2 body for example comes for €810.
Feel free to click on one of these links to purchase your X-E2. You’ll support Fujirumors, as a small commission is valued back to this blog without any extra cost for you. The final price of your X-E2 will remain the same.
Thanks in advance to those, who decide to support FR and allow me to keep this blog running.

Anyone know if this offer is anywhere in the UK ?
I am in the Netherlands. Got it yesterday from DigitalRev for €920,- with the 18-55 lens.
In UK there is already a fantastic deal going on till end of May. if you buy the body around £720 you can claim a lens back for free which you can sell on ebay and end up with a body less than £450. or buy the kit around £1050 get the free zoom lens sell it on ebay and you end up with a kit less than £750. Of course check the details yourself.
Will this be available in Belgium? PCH does not show anything yet..
Prices for X-E2 kit are 1199$ not 1119$. Also for no apparent reason DigitalRev displays price of 1302$ for X-E2 kit.
whoops, a typo. Corrected it. Actually it’s just DigitalRev selling it for $1119
I went with Adorama, ordered mine today through the link!
thanks a lot for your support Richard. It’s people like you who allow me to keep it up with this blog. I hope there will be some other following your example.
and now enjoy your X-E2, I’m pretty sure you’ll have a lot of fun with it.
This website has turned into a just adverts for deals
try to filter the results. Just want rumors? click the rumor section and read the rumors posted this week. Or maybe Rico’s X-pert corner? There is a section also for this.
btw, I don’t think there is anything wrong in telling people where they can save money.
In a sense, nothing wrong, except the part where you advertise grey market offers. I’m all in for daily “regular” deals, in serious stores.
I’m way more critic of the deal concerning VAT bypassing and other semi-fraud.
Also, I don’t get why DigitalRev get to be linked, where PurnimaDigital (another grey market seller) is cheaper on almost every stuff. Don’t they provide affiliate links ? Don’t you trust them ?
If so, do you buy stuff at DigitalRev yourself ?
“Semi-fraud” sounds pretty much as ridiculous as “semi-pregnant”.
I am not familiar with DigitalRev nor PurnimaDigital (by the way, are you a semi-shill for the latter?). However, I did a quick comparison of a few prices (X100s, for example), the DigitalRev won.
…also, DigitalRev’s site is in English, which is important for the blog that’s written entirely in English, comprende?
Purnima doesn’t seem to be available in English indeed. Tough, that didn’t prevent to post links from Amazon.de for example, which is obviously not written in English.
I use the funny term Semi-fraud, because these store owners ask the customer to pay the VAT themselves afterward, which most of the people buying there won’t do. They are buying a price.
So most of the things bought there are bought illegally.
FYI, I dislike very much these websites, hence my personnal Croisade against them.
Buy a Fuji X100 or X100s there, and you’ll hope you don’t suffer the SAB syndrom after the store warranty is expired.
Fuji will fix it if you bought it from a regular store (which doesn’t fraud the VAT), but be warned that you’ll be on your own if your puchase from such a grey-market website.
This kind of shop in to be considered as a second-hand as-is offer, to me. Not to be mixed with regular brand new offers from serious shops.
Comprende? (See how that “question” feels insulting ? I guess it wasn’t necessary)
So to explain my position better : I love Patrick’s work, it keeps us informed about Fuji deals, lenses and camera launch and hope it’ll last long. That’s why I bough some of my lenses through his links, even if I have other website I like to support too. My suggestion there is to treat grey market offers in a specific way, because many people don’t know the flip-side of the coin and could have bad surprises.
On another post Patrick clearly stated that DigitalRev offers a store-specific warranty and not the regular manufacturer one, that’s the way to go.
Does anyone ever pay full price for Fujifilm gear?
No more 799$ X-E2 on BHphoto unfortunatelly…
$799 is what they should have sold it for at the beginning and focus on getting those lenses out there.
