Fujirumors: Your Window to Photokina! FULL X-WORLD COVERAGE: News, Images, Curiosities and more… stay tuned!

 photo photokinaX_zps022707d9.jpg

Photokina just started, but the majority of us mere mortals will remain at home, at work, or simply can’t afford the long journey to Cologne… and I am one of those.

But Fujirumors will be the window to photokina for all X-shooters around the world. I’ll search the web for everything of interest around the X-system… and you can help! If you find something interesting on the web too, or if you actually are at photokina and have a quick report or a useful information to share with other X-enthusiasts, then feel free to drop me an email at fujirumor [at] gmail.com. Or use the rumor box to contact me anonymously.

So follow Fujirumros also via facebook, google+, RSS-feed and twitter.

Meet Rico Pfirstinger on Thursday (18SEP) between 10.00 and 11.30 AM at Photokina and ask him anything about Fuji X! Hall 4.1, Booth C27/D24 (d.punkt Verlag).

        1. nope ! Most of the time demos like this show new design and a few specs… and sometimes even the design is not always the right one in the end.
It’s to feel the temperature… see who’s interrested and how many are interrested

    1. I don’t think there will be any new major announcement. Maybe new flahses or something like this, maybe X-PRO2 demo, as nzswedespeed says.

… and if there will be Fuji-Rep dropping some interesting stuff into conversation, you’ll read here about it first 😉

      1. Thank you, let’s wait and see but a bit underwhelming Photokina when it comes to Fujifilm’s participation/new products

        1. Seems to be underwhelming from many manufacturers. Suppose we will have to wait and see if there are any surprises 🙂

          1. True. So did Samsung. But the Nikon crowd seemed disappointed with the D750, and the 7dm2 seems a bit dull when compared to the samsung (purely looking at specs though…). The canon gx7 and samsung nx1 would be the biggest things announcements for me (I wont buy either though….hooked on fuji now haha)

          2. I saw nothing really interresting at Leica’s side.
I think the great winners of Photokina will be Fuji, Pana and Samsung with their nx1 (mostly for sports shooters and filmmakers)

          3. Leica introduced new film camera, special new M60, new S camera with CMOS sensor, few compacts, new X series camera with summilux lens on it, new summarit lenses, cloud service – so yeah quite a lot, have a look at either Leica’s website or leicarumors.com

          4. yep, they’re on the roll 🙂 would really like to see how new S performs in comparison with Sony based backs/cameras

      2. Kind of why so 10 camera foamers will dis everything about it? It will come out after a longer test of software this time everyone be happy!

      3. Well, according to that one guy who kept posting and insisting there was an XPro2 at the show, it is a certainty.

Personally, I doubt it. I think we’ve seen the majority (if not all) of the big reveals.

  1. Thanks for the window 🙂 If anybody out there could find out if there are firmware updates for x100s (please, fuji) or x-e2 planned would be much appreciated.

      1. Hope Fuji will share with details about firmware upgrades for X-E2 during Photokina before I will sell it, not going to wait till the end of year for Fujifilm mercy.

  2. Hoping to see the X-PRO2, since the X-T1 looks good after the upcoming firmware update, but alas can’t get over not having an EVF in the corner position.

  3. I’m excited about the x100t and can’t wait to see by myself the new stuff inside.
After reading the reviews, I believe i could replace my x100s with it, if the updates are right.
On the new 56mm side, I’m not really amazed, but anyway if I can try both older and newer version I could decide
