About a month ago I told you about the Metz Flash for Fuji, and as you can see from the screenshot in this post, BHphoto expected it to be available early February. But the release has been apparently pushed back, since BHphoto now expects to have it available in April 20!
I remind you that, this spring, also a new Fuji flash will be released (trusted sources). To know more about it, just check out the FR-rumor section.
thx, Craig

The delay might well be due to the insolvency that Metz went through
Let me guess… Another Kaizen firmware update for X cameras?
Please no. I can’t belive I’ve applied over a dozen updates to my X-Pro1. More than almost any device I’ve owned.
First time I hear anyone complaining about a supplier improving his/her gear! But I suppose there is always a first time!
Thex can push it back to 2215, who needs a poor 3rd party flash that cannot even rotate, when Fuji has the same, and Nissin a much better one? I’d be surprised if they sell more than a handful, specially if Fuji really and hopefully comes with an own flash with HSS etc…
The Nissin is a lot larger and more expensive. And there is nothing like it from Fuji.
