    1. Cashback in UK/ROI available now and double kit deal (X-E2+XF18-55+XF55-200) starting late december/January in France… can’t find deals in other countries

    1. BH: click on “savings available” (as you can see in the screenshot) + AmazonUS: add a camera and any of the XF lenses to your Shopping Cart; the corresponding discount(s) will be deducted at checkout.

    2. btw, the X-E2 kit costs $1399, but you save on any additional lens you purchase! If you buy all other XF lenses wit the X-E2 kit (14, 18, 23, 27, 35, 60, 55-200) you spend $4,942 instead of $6,192 (you save $1,250)

But, for example, if you buy the X-M1 body only, and then add all the XF lenses, you save $1,400 on the lenses.

  1. Unfortunately these deals aren’t as good as the original one (or the second one either, for that matter). Buying the X-E1 and 5 lenses was actually cheaper in June ($799 for the body, $1300 rebate on the lenses vs. $699 body, $900 rebate for the lenses, so $300 more out of pocket now).

Would love to make the switch and I suppose now that the system is catching on Fuji deserves to cash in, but I can’t justify spending $300 more than I could have spent 5 months ago, especially now that the camera is “last year’s model” and is discounted.

    1. True for that combination, but there wasn’t X-M or 23mm or 27mm in June. This may be the first deal with those lenses and/or latest cameras. The holiday season purchase impulse may and probably will win.

  2. I check this blog / webpage 3-4 times/day.
But this site became an advertising / selling site.

    It’s not about rumors anymore.

    Such a pitty…

    1. Did you read the rumor yesterday?… I think it’s good to know that you can save up to 1,400 on the X-system, so I gave this information. There are 20 rumor posts in October, and 5 or 6 in November. Well, 25 rumor posts in 55 days, including the first images of X-E2 and xq1 and the first specs about the weather sealed body… And more could come this week.

I should maybe start to post simply everything I hear from unconfirmed sources, just to post a rumor a day… honestly, an anonymous source told me Fuji launch a full frame x-pro2 in january! Maybe i should share it and write FR1.

Another one said that the x-pro won’t be replaced… Another FR1

If you want to read only rumors, simply click on the rumor section… you are one click away from what you’re looking for

I’m sorry, I have no camera and lens roadmap, everything I can do is to stay awake at night to skype with the japanese source, to write emails, to compare rumors, to filter them…

Sorry, I have to go… My students are waiting for me in 10 minutes.

      Cheers

      1. “Another one said that the x-pro wonโ€™t be replacedโ€ฆ”

Lol, even though you know it’s BS, i bet your heart must have skipped a beat just for a moment. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Please, keep doing what you’re doing. But i must admit, i only ever buy anything once in a long while, and even when i do these deals are rarely ever available in my country. So it’s of no use to me 99% of the time.

It is troubling that all the good stuff, not just rumors but also the great user roundups and x-pert corner articles are gone so quickly. It’s not like everybody checks every day, and certainly nobody bothers to browse through previous pages. So many of the good posts are lost, trumped by deals. That doesn’t seem fair. There must be some way to separate deals in a way that they’re still there, but don’t overtake true Fuji news.

Categories work great, but only when you’re looking for something, not when you just want all the latest posts but aren’t looking to buy anything just yet, either because you can’t, or already did and just don’t need anything else for a while, or until Fuji announces what you were waiting for.

Maybe a ‘Everything but deals’ category is enough, or maybe deals should get a fixed position on the side, top or bottom, showing the latest deal (or latest 5 deals like a slideshow if that’s not too complicated) rather than inbetween all the other posts.

        Just thinking out loud. ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. “nobody bothers to browse through previous pages”

That may be true for you…I certainly do browse back to the last post I saw last time I visited…what kind of lazy attitude would that be otherwise? The older posts are one click away!
Just use that big fat button at the bottom of the page! You’ll find lots of interesting stuff!

        2. This is a constructive critic. Thanks.

Fact is that that sometimes, no matter what I post, people are not happy with it. When the Xpert corner began, some people said “we are here for rumors, no XPC!”, when I post an X-shooter zone, some say “we want rumors, not stories and images”. Same for the deals. Other instead enjoy the XPC… and they like to see some nice images from X-shooters all over the world and be informed about the deals.

I can’t make everybody happy I suppose, but there is something for everybody on Fujirumors. So, for now, the sections, or scroll down, is the only thing to do for you. Select what you like. At the moment I don’t have time to work also on a re-design of the site. If, then it will happen next summer.

hey guys, honestly, I put my best into it.

I predict rumors later this week. ๐Ÿ˜‰

        3. oh, and Rico is writing on the X-E2 book! I don’ know you, but I want it ASAP. Therefore I think it’s ok if he focusses on it, and not so much on FR in this period.

          14:00 lesson again! cheers

      2. Hi Patrick I love the work you are doing and I like the fact that you highlight the good deals along with rumours and general Fuji News. I am happy with the mix of stories and grateful for all the work you do.

      3. Hi Patrick,
Thank you for the wonderful side you created and the work and time you are putting into it.
I think its a great mix of informations. Do not bother the stupid comments about advertising. I know no other rumor side publishing as much rumorsrs and Bering so actual as your side is.

        Cheers

    2. Do you realize that this rumors sitesurvives thanks to Patrick’s commitment and the links you click from here to shop for your Fujifilm system?
No “commercial” heads up means no money for the site, which leads to no rumor site at all…
Just do as Patrick says and go to the rumors page, or better use the links provided to buy your Fuji gear if you want to enjoy this excellent website for a while longer!
And just realize Patrick deserves a thank you more than non constructive criticism…

I check this website 3-4 times a day as well, and never had any problem with the deals announcements: not interested? I just skip down to look for new rumors/reviews and interesting info.
Nothing there? Will come back later…perfectly happy with how things are going!

  3. I didn’t wanted to offence anybody.

I like the rumors, I like the reviews, I like the photos, I like expert corner.

If I dared to say I don’t like that kind of advertising, I had a good intention.

I appreciate your efforts for keeping this alive. But it is just not what it used to be once.

    Just my thoughts.

P.S. I’m torn between the following 56/1.2 lens and entering the Sony A7 system (so that I can use the beautifull M lenses on a well implemented focus peaking full frame body). So, If you don’t mind and if you have a “feeling” about the future: will Fuji improve their focus peaking implementation? Because this is the only reason I would switch back to Sony.

    1. I know Iullian,it’s just, I try to deliver you everything, and, fact is, right now it’s black friday in US, the X-E2 and XF23mm are coming, and I want to keep you updated with all these deals and news.

Tomorrow evening I should have some time. I’ll concentrate on the rumors. emails, skype… I’m confident that I can give you an update on the rumors.
