Ok, there is a bit of confusion regarding the epic Kaizen Firmware update coming for X-T2 and X-Pro2, especially since Fujifilm, just today here, released a firmware for X-T2, X-Pro2 and X-T1 (and the EF-X500 flash).
I went again through the messages the 2 anonymous sources wrote me, and if I got it right (but please sources correct me if I’m wrong) this is what Fujifilm currently plans:
- Announcement of the huge Firmware udpates with 33 improved features on March 23 (Note: Announcement, not release)
- First Firmware coming still in March
- Second Firmware coming in May
Sure, delays can always happen, but the important thing to know is that X-T2 and X-Pro2 owners will soon be able to download a complete new camera… for free 🙂
long live Kaizen 🙂
