Leica Q app for apple phone released
Really? Do you have a link to it?
https://itunes.apple.com/app/leica-q/id937302631?mt=8
Unfortunately it looks the same as the Leica T app. which requires going through an existing wi-fi network and doesn’t connect camera to device directly. It’s awful and keeps crashing when I attempt to connect my Leica T and iPad. Hopefully Leica will sort this out eventually and come up with something like the Image Shuttle app. which connects my D-LUX (Typ 109) with my iPad. A Panasonic clone obviously (as is the camera), but it works and works well.
Here is the Google version https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.leica_camera.LeicaQ
The Finder view in the app seems to show 35 and 50 mm fields of view!
Digital zoom? Also looks like there is a screw in grip as well.
Where do you see the screw in grip David?
On the Apple app. page you can see the thumb wheel underneath the screen and what looks like some added height to the camera. However not long to wait now to see the real thing.
