  1. You know I thought after the 5n they couldn’t possibly add enough to the successor to make it worth upgrading and I would wait a generation but they’ve done it again! I don’t know what would be better overall between the 5r with external evf and the 6.

I have a feeling the external evf is better than the internal one in the 6 but time will tell. I’m going to have to start saving!

    1. +100 Sony still ramains and electronically driven Company, also they aquired Minolta Konica some years ag: thats corporte culture – but in a negative sense..

who really neeeds wifi for a cam, that produces 8 mb pics? all “kidd stuff” and pseudo innovation.. sometimes i reall ybelieve, the japanese like toys for themselves..

  2. Well Crapo you sound like one of those mFT fanboy types let me guess, Olympus user? lol. Here is how to make all lenses achieve better results firstly shoot in a 4×3 ratio which excludes most of the problem areas {by significantly reducing the percentage of those pesky extreme edges of the image circle used by the lens} . Secondly the smaller the sensor the easier it is to design lenses.

So if you want to significantly improve every lens on Sony simplest solution is to shoot a 4×3 ratio. Sorry did you think mFT lens makers had some magic fairy dust. Now I know this may be difficult to accept so why not toddle off download a RAW file from whatever Nex you want with whatever lens you want and see what happens when you crop to a 4×3 ratio.

    1. I see. So an MFT sensor is the same as APS-C, but they just crop of the peskiness. Cool. Then I am even happier that after a few weeks I decided to change my Nex 7 for an OM-D.

Anyway, a war between MFT and Nex users seems a bit pointless to me. What’s there to win?

  3. I’m glad they kept the body size of the NEX-5n, the NEX-F3 is stupidly big and heavy imho. Okay it has a flash, great…
