Still a mess on Sony US website: A6000 removed, most A7r orders canceled.

sonyUS

Sony Store US (Click here) is still a full mess: The A6000 and the A7r disappeared from the site. The A77II and A3000 listed but with preorder option deactivated. It may be that they are completely redoing the site before the next product announcement in mid June.

And most of the orders you placed to buy the $199 A7r got canceled. One of our readers just got this from Sony:

Dear Mxxxx,
We have canceled your order/item(s) due to item unavailability.
On occasion, popular items sell out before we can fulfill all orders. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.

But some of the SAR readers were damn lucky and got the A7r for $199. Here is a screenshot from one of our readers:

  1. I ordered 3x A7r for the reduced price and got them today
There is no way to attach images?
    .

  2. I was one of the first to order and mine just got cancelled this morning.
    Has anyone actually received a $200 a7r?

    1. Mine cancelled too. . Not because of pricing error…no… Sony just don’t have them anymore.
What shall I order next from them? New A-mount?

      1. Their claim that they do not have any more is another Sony lie.
Sony could simple tell the truth , that the price was an error, and no one could fault them for that, but they are so accustomed to lieing to us that they would as usual rather make up another lie than tell the truth.

        1. How do you know it’s a lie?

I bet you the number of people who ordered one at $200 far outweighs the entire worldwide stock of A7Rs.

Even if they had every intention of honouring the price, they would not be able to fulfil demand.

Just interested, what other lies are you referring to?

          1. Will you stop your bul$$it.
You know as well as anyone Sony is still selling A7r.
If you want to dispute something do it for a real reason, not just to harrass me.

          2. Stop being pathetic. You are one tightly wound spring.

Did I say Sony were no longer selling the A7R? But what they stock combined with what they may or may not plan to manufacturer in the future could well be less than the demand surge caused by the price mistake.

        2. It could be subject to varying interpretations. They could claim that their supply of A7R cameras priced at $199 are “unavailable”. Who knows if they actually had any… but I agree that they should have just explained the situation and admitted to the error.

        3. Why do they have to admit what anyone with 1/2 a brain already knows, that it was an error on the site? Duh. Everyone expected this result (or should have) so what’s the point you’re trying to make exactly?

        4. So we’re all catching on to the concept that Sony lies ?

Welcome to the world of 11+7 “14 bit color”

  3. I call BS, but I knew this would happen. We’ll get a handfull of people who claim that they got cameras just to be trolls and stir the pot. Just FYI S.A.R., and online order form does not prove that anyone actually received a $200 A7R.

  4. No A5100 with kit too , it was available 2 days ago with a great price $399.

I guess they are working on adding something new to the website

  5. I just received the same email. I’m really curious as to why they did this. Close out the last few hundred of them before the new one arrive?

      1. I’m not so sure. Too many weird pricing and sales going on. Malicious perhaps on the part of some disgruntled employee, but it seems pretty fishy that there were 3-4 different items with wild prices and now at least 2 of them haven’t been on the Sony Store at all for 3 days.

Maybe whoever is running that part is completely inept, but it seems crazy that it still isn’t fixed.

  6. no one is going to receive an a7r for 200 – unicorns don’t exist. let me know when you find one.

  7. This is an embarrassment for any large company like Sony. These days website management should not be that difficult.

It’s even moreso an embarrassment for Sony due to the fact that they are a tech company and one expects tech companies to get tech right.

    1. Tech companies quite often have terrible websites. Sony, Dell, HP…

HP’s website has been crap for at least 15 years.

    2. Yes, it’s almost as if… every large company in the world shouldn’t make a single error on the planet, even if it’s a single digit (that is if they wanted it to be $1999 not $199)

    3. Doesn’t surprise me in the least. My last lens purchase was a fiasco and ultimately I made out. They sent me the wrong lens hood three times and told me to keep them together with some other stuff. Since the unit was a so-called refurb I expected some mistakes but dang. In the end I got a lens that had been bench tested and looked completely new and function perfectly well. After selling the spare parts on eBay I ended up paying half price for the ZA lens.

  8. Sony left it’s loyalist (who follow this site and ordered the cameras) bitter. They could have handled it better.

      1. It was not clearly a mistake, it might also have been deliberate for free publicity. I have co workers who could have cared less for cameras talking about sony and this incident.

        1. Please. The only people that even knew about the deal either frequent Sony’s site (and are familiar with how Sony Cameras are priced) or those who frequent deal sites likeslickdeals (in which it was widely understood that this was likely a pricemistake). Outside of that, this did not even register a blip on anyone’s radar and the vast majority of people ordering these things were trying to take advantage of a mistake

          1. Well this is where we disagree. The fact is that this sony hype was noticed outside of this such sites is free publicity as it seems sony made a really good job of pulling all the orders back.

          2. Dell, Best Buy, and others have reacted the same way when they had pricing errors. People, including those within large corporations make mistakes. Get over it. In your line of work, would you want to be on the hook in the most punitive way every time you made a mistake? Worse yet, would you be ok with people exploiting your mistakes for their own gain?

          3. 1st they could have handled the cancellation in a better way. 2nd, not sure it was a mistake.

          4. They communicated the error better…sure. But seriously, anyone trying to take advantage of a clear pricing error has no grounds to throw stones at Sony for being dishonest. What exactly do you feel entitled to?

          5. Takes me back to my original post. For a proper cancellation/response for its brand followers.

          6. For public relations purposes…sure. But again, why should anyone who knowingly was trying to take advantage of a mistake be entitled to any sort of special treatment? Take the cancellation that you knew was going to happen, and simply move on with your life

          7. I like many others will move with my life, with the experience of sony handling of this.

          8. Right….because you were treated so poorly when Sony didn’t offer an explanation as to why they cancelled the order that you knew was a price mistake when you placed it

I don’t think the issue is that Sony was never honest with you. The bigger issue is you not being honest with yourself

          9. Oh give me a break Dr.Phil preaching others what to think, it is if you get personally offended that people ordered various items on sale for the price you assume was a mistake. The A77II costs 898$ on amazon and was sold “mistakenly” on the sony site for 399$ and got pulled back. this is not an obvious mistake as the sony a7 originally was sold for 1700$ and now sells for significantly less, 998$.

          10. Offended? No, I think the fact that you and so many others are offended by Sony is rather humorous

          11. Yes, pretty disgusting people here (some). Everybody likes to make a good deal, put taking advantage of others is just that.. taking advantage. Nothing to be proud of.

          12. Also ASAIK Sony did not admit it was a mistake. They have canceled the order with an excuse/lie of product unavailability.

          13. Indeed, if someone makes a mistake paying 10x as much by accident, and the company finds out about it, would you expect the company to be honest about it and let you know and pay it back? I would expect this. This also means I wont take advantage of my business partners myself, as I expect the same myself.

What world are we living in where dog eats dog..

        1. Well, apparently when you call Sony store, they clearly stated that it’s a mistake. As public as it can be for such a small matter.

  9. I just got cancellation due to “unavailability” today. I can’t fault them for cancelling the order, I wasn’t really expecting to get it at that price. But I wish the cancellation message was a bit more honest… “We apologize, but when you placed your order, the item was incorrectly priced. Pursuant to our terms and conditions, we are cancelling the order. If you would like to purchase the item at the correct price…..”

    1. Not sure honesty is the word to use in this situation. There’s no honesty from us as the customer when we knowingly take advantage of a mistake. I’m no better, just saying.

      1. I don’t think there is anything dishonest about trying to complete a purchase at a listed price. And an extension of that honesty, is the buyer should be prepared to accept that it was a mistake, and cooperate with Sony when they cancel the order. I feel I was “honest”…. “Hey Sony.. if you are really selling the A7r for $200, then here is my credit card.. send me one”… and I’m perfectly willing to accept Sony saying, “whoops.. sorry, it was a mistake, not really selling at that price.”
Again, I hold no grudge against Sony. They were well within their rights to cancel the order. Just from a public relations standpoint, I wish they apologized for the error instead of falsely claiming the cancellation is due to “unavailability.” It’s no big deal though.

  10. Enough about things that don’t matter. SAR is being silent about the ‘silent’ announcement that’s supposed to happen this month. Or maybe further delayed?

  11. Wasn’t really expecting Sony to ship A7r for that price. But to give false reason for canceling the order is outright disgusting. Shame on Sony.

      1. She (nwimu) ‘s a troll n the comments are her only activities in her daily life living in parents basement

      1. Well, that’s prove enough I guess. I still think that body looks to small on that lens. They should do a commercial like that one…”Where’s the beef?” Instead…”Where’s the grip?”

      1. Isn’t ironic that the goodwill doesn’t work the other way round when customers have no qualms about trying to take advantage of a pricing error, but complain like crazy when it isn’t honoured?

          1. Wrong.

“happening in a way contrary to what is expected, and typically causing wry amusement because of this.
synonyms: paradoxical, incongruous, odd, strange, weird, peculiar, unexpected”

          2. Wow, great response. You could have just acknowledged your mistake, but you came back with THAT.

        1. Hey this is pretty exciting stuff so it’s cheap entertainment for those I’ve also got our orders canceled soOoo late in the chase.

Well at least they’re paying attention because I also ordered the new f1,4 35mm lens and it’s still set for delivery tomorrow. So now I’m back to saving up money for the projected A7rII.

          1. Okay okay, lets look at it this way, would you be happy to get A7R for 200 IF Sony lets you have it? Would you still say no Sony, you’re losing money on this sales, let me give you full msrp?

          2. It is not clear to me what exactly you mean by “Sony lets you have it”. Sony published the price by accident. It was not their intention to “let me have it”.

Of course I like gifts or a great bargain in ebay or the flea market. But this story is different.

If a stranger loses his wallet full of money and with all papers in it. Would you keep it? Would I keep it? I’m not sure. Would I post in a forum, that I found the wallet and how cool I am that I got away with it? Definitely not. Would I keep it, if I have already picked it up, but the owner comes back a minute later and it’s pretty obvious that I must have picked the wallet up? Would I lie to him straight in his eye? Probably not. I can’t say what I would do with absolute certainty. But what I know for sure is, if I keep the wallet, it’s greed.

No one loses his wallet by intention and no one sells me a new $13,000 lens for $1,300 by intention.

Even if I would do it like you and would try to benefit from such a mistake, it would still be greed. And I would not be proud of it.

    1. Damn! Out for delivery! so close my friend… wonder if overnight delivery you might have gotten it in time…

  12. The sense of entitlement here is comical. You guys clearly knew this was a mistake, tried to take advantage of it, and are expecting special treatment from Sony?

  13. Purchased through Paypal, no cancellation yet but money hasn’t been taken out. Can anyone confirm whether or not their paypal payments have been cancelled? or if they’re still standing?

  14. It was obviously a pricing mistake as Amazon cancelled their orders citing that. Sony should have just done the same. This whole “unavailability” crap is going to drag this on even longer.

  15. UPS lets the sender intercept packages to prevent delivery. Since that screenshot shows it was shipped out UPS ground, there’s a good chance it’ll be intercepted and returned to sender. Always pay extra money for 2-day or 1-day shipping if you actually want it when this happens.

  16. I just got a written message from Sony stating that not a single camera was sent at that price. I would love someone to provide me with proof to the contrary!

      1. High school must have been hell for you. But endless thanks for your deep and meaningful insight. One love, brother.

  17. SAR must be repeating this story because they know it generates a lot of discussion, and more likely because they have no rumors to report, and they are trying to hide the fact that their SR4 rumors about the new camera announcements haven’t materialized. Let this dumb story go, and start reporting some real information SAR!

    1. I hope this at least makes some real changes of the webmasters of Sony US website. This is not the only error we have seen. There are many other errors that items are not shown up in the right page, e.g. if you look at full frame E-mount lenses page, several new lenses are missing.

      1. You are talking to the wrong person. I guess he doesn’t care much about your opinion about this “dumb” story. 😉

      1. No one is getting the 500mm for the mistake price, they are built to order and could not ship out prior to Sony realizing their error.

  18. Just got cancel email 10min ago for A7r and 77mIIDear Stephen,We have canceled your order/item(s) due to item unavailability. On occasion, popular items sell out before we can fulfill all orders. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.

  19. Interesting. I used my Amex Business card. My card has a guarantee to match lowest prices. If it is truly cancelled not by price mistake, but sold out unavailable. i may be able to have Amex fix this for me. I can imagine who ever typed the price $199.00 instead of $1,999.99 would get fireded.

    1. Read the fine print on that AMEX. The product you are trying to price match, must be available for purchase at a retailer. If it is unavailable, then you are out of luck.

  20. That’s crazy yo! Some people actually got the A7r for $199?!! A shipping notice is one thing, but I’ll believe it when those people actually GET the A7r delivered to their homes. And if…IF they actually do receive them, can’t Sony legally then just bill them for the difference? Either way, that’s pretty wild what happened. Lol. Lucky bastards! 🙂

I can’t wait to buy me a Sony A7 ii or A7s. Still torn between the two. The only thing I wish Sony would add to these models is a touch screen. When they do that, I think they’ll have the perfect mirrorless FF. 🙂

    1. I agree with you because Sony could place a stop delivery on the package before its actually delivered. Granted, they would have to be motivated to do that, but given how things are often messed up at Sony, it’s only a few lucky dogs that are going to be just that, lucky !

  21. Just got my cancellation email today. I wasn’t really expecting Sony to honor the order, though.

  22. I just got my Sony cancellation email 2 minuets ago! I checked my PayPal and no refund for the A77MII for $399. I am curious how this really happened here, did they get hacked or Sony employee? I see that the A7r below that was shipped is on it way back to Sony, long time ago Newegg had a great deal on a Yamaha receiver and most ordered it next day air and while they were out for delivery Newegg ordered a return so close for some and read while 1 was being handed it over to the receiver then the UPS driver got a noticed to return. Oh well!

    1. You’ll soon get an email from Sony “We would like to thank you for your $399 donation…”
      🙂

  23. I’m pretty sure someone on slickdeals got one. There is a whole story about it being delivered to his office and then the delivery guy coming back to try to take it back later in the day.

Both of my orders were cancelled. It’s a shame because I was thinking about buying an A7r or A7rii anyway. I think I’ll just stick with my D800 for a while and deal with the weight. It is not worth spending $1000s to save 500g. If I had got it for $200, it would have given me a push.

    1. from slickdeals :

“Things got a bit interesting today!

Yesterday, I posted my shipment confirmation email with 1-Day
shipping. Well, FedEx delivered it today around 10:00 AM to the
receiving dock of my work place. Of course, as soon it is delivered, I
go pick it up from the receiver and take it back to my office. But the
      story doesn’t end there.

Around 3:00 PM I get a phone call in my office from our receiver. He
tells me that the FedEx driver had come back to pick up the package. He
informed the driver that I had it in my office and instructed him where
my office was located in the main office building.

Moments later the FedEx guy is in my office stating that he is there
to pick up a package. I played dumb and told him that I didn’t have a
package going out for shipment. He said that he had delivered a package
this morning that was addressed to me and that he had gotten multiple
notices that the package needed to be redirected back to the sender.

I informed him that I did get a package this morning and that it was
for an order that I placed online for my girlfriend. I told him that my
girlfriend has already come by my office and picked it up and that the
package was not in my possession. I also informed him that it was the
correct item that I had ordered and acted confused on why it would have
been redirected back to the sender.

He seemed pretty confused by the whole situation and just said “Okay” and left.

I felt a little bit bad for playing the driver but I figured that I
had ordered the item…Sony charged my credit card…Sony shipped the
item…and then I took delivery of the item. Had it been redirected back
to Sony before I had received it then I would have accepted that and
      moved on.”

      1. By talking about it here and if Sony reps see your comment then u could be from now on their black list… or maybe not if we can consider it was also a good advertising for them

btw how many items did you order , coz the one u are talking above was delivered but you show also screenshot of returning to shipper ?

        1. My A7r order was cancelled. So far only the guy who posted his story on slickdeals got his that I know of because he paid for 1 day shipping.

        2. It’s likely too late for Sony to want to follow-up and I doubt they would want to get involved in a potential legal issue. Even so, I don’t believe I would come on here and brag about receiving the lens just because.

          1. I don’t think Sony would be worried about a potential legal issue. If anything it’s the small guy/customer who should be worried about hearing from Sony’s lawyers, not the other way around.

          2. I stand corrected as it would be a civil matter. I could see a judge asking Sony: Did you list the selling price? Did the customer pay the price as listed? Did you deliver the product to the buyer? Did the buyer receive and accept the sold product as listed?

      2. That guy sounds like a complete scumbag. He’s taking advantage of a honest mistake and making life very difficult for that FedEx driver- those guys have a very stressful job as is. What a lying creep. I would love for the driver to see his message and see how he was lied to.

        1. who gives a shit about the FedEx driver. He doesn’t take any stick for this and gets paid whether he brings the package back or not.

        2. quit being a hater, you would have done the same… he got an a7r for 199 congratulate the man. FedEx is a big comapny im sure their insurance can cover it. all you idiots are so fake..if you have gotten an a7r for 199 you would be telling everybody about it and how you bested a giant company and how you beat the man.. stupid idiot.

      3. I am guessing if you did one day or overnight shipping the chances of getting the camera was pretty good, I am happy for you.

  24. Posting under a different username will not make you any more able to understand the meaning of the word. I posted a definition, but you still argue against.

    1. I would say hypocrisy is closer to the mark, but anyway, why are you letting homages under your skin so much?

  25. i rather think it s one of their automatic answers, they won’t create a new item for this event 😉

  26. I ordered a A7r at 199$ during this week-end and got today an A7000 after they cancelled the A7R delivery 😀 What a surprise !!!! and thanks for the mess at Sony 😀

  27. My initial post stated that ‘I have a feeling some of these are going to slip through’ and they did. Unfortunately, mine wasn’t one of them but oh well.

  28. It’s really simple. Don’t buy it from Sony directly. Go into Best Buy, show the youngest and staff member who looks like he doesn’t care about the job, and convince him to give it to you for what their story policy offers: competing price -10%. I got two A7Rs

    1. No, it is NOT that simple. There are two problems; (1) Best Buy does not match sony.com prices. Their policy is well documented on their website “At the time of sale, we price match all local retail competitors
(including their online prices) and we price match products shipped from
and sold by these major online retailers: Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com,
Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com, Newegg.com, and TigerDirect.com.” and problem number (2) is that you can find the careless, inexperienced employee but they still need their manager to aprove the “price match” and usually the managers are a little bit more savvy.

      1. I have a friend in Nashville who got a brand new a7s last year at Best Buy for $2,200 plus a gift card by showing them an online price at like EBay.

        Manager approved it.

      2. You can get these big box stores to price match Craigslist if you talk to the right people. If they’re busy, some managers have a tendency to say “just do make the sale!” This is also partly why they’re going out of business.

    2. Least ethical post I’ve ever seen on this website. In the top twenty for least ethical post I’ve seen period. Congrats.

    3. I would suggest to wear a helmet and some body protection, because you may be punched in the face so badly, that you will never again bring your A7 to any usefulness. (Well, you can sell it on ebay of course.)

  29. To the few who take delivery of their $199 A7r – don’t register your serial number on Sony.com! LOL!

  30. Sony cancelled my a6000 order with no explanation. With applicable discounts and reward points, the price for the kit totalled $524 shipped..

  31. Folks, this is why you have no dual card slots. This is why Sony treats it’s cameras more like toys than pro tools. You didn’t here it from me:

    1. That may be true, however, you are missing the most important point: These chart would not look different with Nikon or Canon or any other pro brand.

Years ago I had a talk with a Sinar (clearly a pro brand) rep. He said they make 70-80% of their revenue with hobbyists, collectors etc., not pros.

Thats what all these gadgets (pro or not) are for most people: toys.

  32. Today I received e-mail that my order for A77II was canceled “due to item unavailability” so I called costumer service to see what are they going to say.

First thing I hear is recorded msg. about error in camera pricing, non model specific.
After waiting few minutes, costumer rep. answers and gets order number and my info.
She comes back and repeats same “due to item unavailability” story from e-mail.
On my question “did you sell any at this price” she said yes, but it is not available any more. “if you sold some at this price shouldn’t you fulfill all orders”
“we didn’t ship any, all orders are canceled”
“You just told me you shipped some, did you ship any cameras or not?”
“no, orders are canceled due to item unavailability”
“so this got nothing to do with price error msg. recording”
“no, what msg” I tell her about recorded msg., she puts me on hold to check.
“yes orders are canceled due to price error”
“why does your e-mail claim “due to item unavailability”
    “that is computer generated msg.”
“you use artificial intelligence computers that generate e-mail msg?” 🙂
    “no” 🙁
“so instead of one error now you have two, which story should I believe?”
“it is a price error and all orders are canceled”
I ask her to transfer me to her supervisor.
He apologizes for inconvenience and admits to price error.
“what about your e-mail that claims order is canceled due to item unavailability?”
    “that is computer generated e-mail”
“you use artificial intelligence computers that generate e-mail msg?” 😀
    “No” 🙁
At this point I couldn’t play it straight any more. I told him that I am long time Sony camera user and I hope next time they will not try to cover errors with “computer generated msg”

    1. You are so cool showing the customer rep and the rest of the world, how stupid the customer rep is. What do you expect? What would you do, if you priced the items you sell a 10th of its worth by accident? Would you say “oh yes i give you the items for the wrong price and pay the thousends of $$ damages from my personal savings” and ship the cameras and lenses for nothing to all the di*kheads who try to benefit from a typing error?

(FYI: A costumer is a person who makes and sells costumes. But you are so smart, you know that already. Right?)

BTW: I’m not affiliated with Sony or Amazon, but I work for a retailer and customers like you make me wish, to meet you eye to eye in person (without any witnesses).

      1. English is my second language so I make mistakes, you can call my costumer service and complain.
I never expected to receive A77II for 399.99, third of the price not tenth ( my math is much better than my English)
Fact is they compounded their own mistake with those e-mails, if they admitted price error I wouldn’t call customer service in first place.
If you are interested in eye to eye meeting feel free to contact me at any time. I’m in Milwaukee WI

        1. Well, I’ve read your post again. Maybe i overreacted a bit. I live in Europe, and the law is a lot more consumer friendly there. There are several comparable cases in Europe, where people sued the company successfully, and the company was forced to sell the wrongly priced items for that price. One case was a TV set worth 3000 EUR, accidentally priced 300 EUR.

My employer had an auction sale of tents (worth 300 EUR each) on ebay long ago. The highest bidder refused to pay. So, as many times before, we used the well known ebay function were you can make an offer to the second highest bidder (for the second highest bid). However the girl who was working in our office, pressed the wrong button. She accidentally made an offer to ALL defeated bidders (most of them with bids lower than 30 EUR) (crazy that such a stupid function even exists). We informed all bidders immediately and cancelled the transaction, but most of them reacted very aggressively and threatened with their lawyers. So, at the end, we had to sell 20 tents for prices between 1 to 30 EUR. A big loss for a very small retailer. The girl who made the mistake broke down in tears and my boss was a nice guy and paid all the damages. But I really wished to meet these as*holes in person.

Thats why I’m a bit tensed towards all the fu*kers here who try to benefit from what was for sure a mistake by some poor dog in a lonely office. I think you get the point.

I’m in the US next spring, but in the southwest, so, no eye to eye meeting. ;P

          1. If you and up anywhere in Chicago-Milwaukee area we can do shoot out, I’ll let you pick any of my 6 Sony and 2 Minolta cameras and lens of your choice 😉

  33. I wonder how long they are going to sit on everybody’s money.
Good way to get free short term loan.

  34. My order was predictably cancelled a couple of days ago. Earlier this morning I checked the Sony site to see if the a7r was now at the regular price or perhaps discounted (the original link was “Save $700 instantly on select a7 full frame mirror less cameras”). The link is still there and there are a couple of a7’s discounted, and two a7II’s and an a7s at regular price. No a7r. I searched the site and the a7r was no where to be found.

If all incorrectly-priced orders were successfully cancelled then wouldn’t all the original on-hand inventory from last Sunday morning still be available for resale? I guess either Sony is waiting for the smoke to clear (cancellation notifications sent out, charges to credit cards erased, etc.) or maybe a substantial number actually did get shipped and Sony is trying to claw them back. I also wonder if the a7r might have been one of the models originally intended to be included in the $700 off promotion. If so, Sony could garner some goodwill and PR mileage by offering that promotion to all those who successfully placed an order on Sunday morning. Maybe even kick in a $100 bucks towards a lens purchase. At any rate the $700 off might well have been what they originally intended to offer all along. It would be a fair solution to a messy situation.

Even at that, it’s still pretty much a stretch to far for me – especially when you need to add in an expensive lens. I am very much an aging amateur family photographer – so the a7r would be way beyond my expectations. For the time being I’ll hold on to my trusty-but-aging Kodak Z1012 IS (no snickers please!). Believe it or not, Kodak put a Schneider K-something lens in it that I am told is pretty decent. Good luck to all.

  35. So i had all my a7r orders cancelled but my only a77ii order was in stock and actually shipped this past monday. Was tracking the shipment via fedex the whole week expecting the order to be recalled by sender as other have mentioned. But, it actually arrived this evening without any fedex guy coming back trying to claim it back. Wish it was one of my a7r orders that went through but cant complain. Now i have an a77ii here which i am willing to sell for $800 if anyone is interested (lowest price anywhere). Brand new havent opened the box.
