The Biggest Fuji X Lover Ever says: “The X-system has been a Boon For my Travel Photography!”

 photo fujihair_zpsbo7j7ue9.jpg

The X-series is more than “just” high quality lenses, great cameras & top-notch IQ. It’s, for many, a refreshing and liberating way to shoot… a way to (re)discover photography. Passion, Fun, Inspiration, Lightness and Freedom are an essential part of the X-shooter eXperience.

So it’s no surprise that we can find a growing number of huge Fuji X Fans out there, who want to show their love for the X-system to the world. It was passion that brought me to launch this blog back in times when there were just a handful of X-shooters out there. FujiRumors was my personal way to share my eXcitement for the new X-shooter eXperience, but…

… but there are some, who have way more original ways to express their passion! One of them is Brandon:

“I’ve been a fujifilm lover since my first fuji 4700  back in 2000. I have always had some fairly zany hair and not long after getting the camera, I took the opportunity to show off my love with my hairstyle. After the 4700, I moved on to a minolta dimage, then joined the canon family.  I added an X-E1 to my collection for travel, and once I got my hands on an X-E2, I sold all of my Canon gear (including my 5DMKIII) and have been exclusively fuji ever since.  Thanks for the great site and sharing so much information about our beloved platform.  The X-system cameras and lenses have been a boon for my travel photography and I can’t wait to get my hands on an X-Pro2! Have a great day! Clix // Brandon HomeSick.com“

Now, you don’t have to cut your hair like this too, to show your passion for the X-system. Maybe a nice T-shirt would be just enough, as Tatjana shared here and Wim here… and as you know, all the profits go to Charity in Cambodia. Learn more about the X-shirts here. Buy it here in USA and here in Europe & CO.

enjoy your Sunday and take some nice shots with your X today… and feel free to share your favorite X-shots at the X-shooter facebook zone,

    1. A hero? No. A passionate X-shooter? Yes.

Take it easy Piotr. It’s Sunday, spring is back, and an X-shooter just shared (in his original way) his switch story and passion for the X-series.

And sometimes I like to share stories I receive via email, and not just tech talk, rumors, deals, reviews, firmware news…

enjoy your day and have fun

      1. Eh… “passionate”.
If someone has a huge tattoo of a naked woman on his chest, is he a passionate admirer of female beauty? 🙂

Well… I guess this might be a difference in aesthetics between US and Europe/Asia. I hope no one feels offended, but here this guy would look like an ex-convict.

Anyway… this is in fact a nice day, so lets leave it at that. 🙂

        1. well, he acutally owns an X-E2 (previously an X-E1) and says he likes it a lot… so I guess it’s fair enough if he says he loves the X-system. The hair is just his “punk-way” to say that 😉

  1. A try hard hipster looking for attention, who hasn’t fully grown up because his parents still enable him. Classic. Love the cartoon tattoos.

    1. LMAOooooooooo you are so ignorant he is a successful business owner which is why he can afford nice camera equipment

    2. Having my parents enable me at 34 is a bit of a stretch of the imagination. I’m a self-enabler! And it’s hardly trying hard, all of my zaniness comes to me quite easily 🙂 Cheers!

  2. This is supposed to be about photography and not lifestyle. Admin please show us photography related news/articles, not people’s lifestyle. Who cares about his hair. This hipster attention stuff is annoying.

    1. Oh well, it’s also about a person who switched from Canon to Fuji for Travel Photography. It’s about fun with the X. And yes, true, he has a pretty unpopular way to show his love for Fuji… but I have nothing against unpopular things 😉

    1. I’m used to be accused of a bit of everything… bad taste and fanaticism is the most harmless of all. I guess that’s something I have to accept, when I write 700 articles a year. Can’t always make everyone happy.

      1. Patrick, unless that is you in the photo, I don’t think you need to worry that my comments were pointed towards you. The bad taste and fanaticism belongs to the individual in the photo.

  3. At least he is young enough to have sufficient hair on his head to do what he has done. Perhaps the basis for the naysayers comments is that they don’t anymore :-))

  4. I appreciate that you shared this image. The photo was taken was when I was 20 years old (circa 2000) a period some people called their “exploratory” years. I was exploring expression via hairstyle. A lot of people reminisce about when they had significantly less care for what the world had to say about what they were doing, and then trudge along just existing remembering the good times. That is no life for me. I prefer an existence of adventure and travel. Thanks to the renaissance that Fuji has brought my photography with their X-system, I am not only living the good times that others dream about, I am now documenting them.

  5. When I see this, one question pops up in my mind… what is a fanboy? The one yesterday collecting Nikon or Canon T-shirts and other goodies, today it’s only Fuji, Fuji and even more Fuji in his daily chatter. And tomorrow, it’s Sony or Olympus…? A camera is just a tool. I’ve not picked up Fuji because I had to fill an empty space in my life but because I required a more portable HQ solution for more flexible purposes where weight was in the way. But I’m still using Nikon F. A 30 years working relationship – that went also through a few serious ups and downs – but that I don’t push aside for just some silly commercials (the caveman hyping). But still I’m also not a Nikon fanboy walking around wearing a Nikon jacket. Again, the camera is my tool, I’m not married to any brand, yet I am with the work I perform. If somebody offers me a better and more efficient hammer to execute this job in a faster, more qualitative way, I might eventually change to it, but it won’t be in a fortnight. That’s what I did with Fuji and it was one, big mistake. The X-T1 is a mature and workable concept, but the X-Pro1 was at its release a complete shame and even after a zillion updates it never became the bulletproof camera locking any of my subjects in focus precisely the way I wanted it to have. And yes, Patrick, you’re doing an excellent job to inform us in the best possible manner about what we have to expect from Fuji, all this hard work & filtering, but I don’t sign with blood Fuji will stay in my life forever if they don’t evolve more than they actually do now.

  6. What’s the meaning of the nine symbols? The second row looks like “I shoot Fuji” to me. The first one maybe “Fuji Camera Love”. Maybe. Please tell us the exact meaning.
