  1. Looks sexy! but 28mm is too wide 🙁 maybe there are more variants to come!

The Full-Size sensor is weird… it is really Full Frame? I mean a sensor 25.1 × 16.7 mm is a Full sized APS-C…

    1. It would “just” be a Leica X2 with a faster lens and many other improvements.
Personally I think it will be a new serie.
28mm is great for photojournalism (if this job still exists..), street photography, documentary.

I’d like to know if it will be a single version camera or if there will be different versions (a 35mm or a 50mm lens, for example)

    2. Navier, I am trying to find information on the sensor size. Where did you get the 25.1 x 16.7? Thank you in advance.

      1. I only searched in Wikipedia for an APS-C Sensor size for my argumentation. I am not saying that it’s the size it will be as I don’t have any infos, sorry if it sounded like this

  2. EVF 3.68 million dots? Wow!.. Perhaps that resolution allows an electronic simulation of the rangefinder window (fingers crossed)

    1. It’s 1280×960. Current top evfs are 1024×768 (and are already excellent, as to resolution). The more pixels the better, if latency is as good.

  3. It sure looks like a Panasonic camera with a pinch of Leica in the mix, at least in the form of red dot.

  4. tics most of my boxes so far but then there is the potential RX2 from Sony and X200 from Fuji to look at. Would be a second camera for me so I can wait and see.

  5. Seems to be a new sensor and not Sony (neither is the M), but the X is. There are rumors of a digital rangefinder sitting below the M that might be based on this. 1.3x crop will take this to 35mm with still decent resolution. Wonder if it stops down at close focus distance like the X and T?
