  1. I am a big sony fan and really want this to work on my A7ii, but is it me or have the reviews been lackluster?

      1. Thanks for the thought, I am deciding between this and and the Voigtlander 35 1.2 and close focus adapter. Thanks for the well wishes! Muah!

        1. If you going manual focus (which changes everything), how about the Rokinon 35mm F1.4 for E-Mount. It’s only $479 US. If you need close focus, get a set of extension tubes.

      1. The fact of the matter is that the Zeiss is the best auto focus 35mm lens for the e-mount currently available. It’s not cheap, no lens of this quality is.

        1. I didn’t read anything lack luster in their conclusion. They seem to really like the lens. Unfortunate they don’t have good sample photos wide open since that’s why we’re interested in buying the lens…

  2. Doesn’t matter to me…I have the A77ii…’The camera which does EVERYTHING’…and with great, reasonably priced lenses.

  3. It seems as though Sony might be intentionally putting APS-C format for the interchangeable lens systems, into a death spiral for 2015. Maybe APS-C will only be used for RX100 type cameras from now on. Well it was nice knowing you A6000.
