Last week I invited all SAR readers to share their best work on the SAR Facebook wall (Click here). Well, there are so many pictures there that I cannot post them all on this site! That’s why a couple of times per months I will only post the three pictures that got the most facebook likes by the SAR community.
I invite you to share and vote the best pictures on SAR’s facebook wall. Let’s start!

Nice. This is what it’s all about!
Wonderful work
These are lovely! I love the idea; it’s very simple, but inspiring, and you get to see the camera and lens used. I love this. And I think it will be enlightening to see how incredibly capable forgotten cameras like the A55 and A65 really are.
Beautiful pics…
It’s nice to see some of the great work the readers do here.
I felt sorry for the T star guy the other day as people can be brutally honest when on the internet. It’s good to see that some of the readers here can back up the words with pictures.
Are you suggesting they all used too much “photoshop?”
The first one is straight from the camera.
Argh, too much photoshop! Their grading looks like a stock photography book from 1997.
A little restraint on the saturation slider goes a very long way.
+1
Time to calibrate your screen if you think it’s oversaturated.
I agree. The saturation is a bit too strong. Then again, no one is completely objective when looking at images so its best to take things with a grain.
I’m using an NEC PA monitor and I calibrate it frequently to 120cd/5800k/g:2.2 when viewing editing or 80cd when reading or browsing.
I agree with you bitofasnob, good ideas with ugly colors. not a good examples of Sony’s color rendition.
If you think those are over saturated then you need to calibrate your monitor. Stock monitor settings are always with the SAT super high. I can show you the FILM shot taken at the same exact time and you won’t see much difference accept its a big square.
@Randy S.
Awesome image!
B.
Thank you.
Even if it was heavily editted, which hes said its straight from camera, so what? I don’t see how that makes in any less of a photograph.
The Tools are there to help make something that not easy to otherwise produce.
Right on!
Nice compositions all. Thanks for sharing.
Creative & Beautiful, well-done!
Really love the Dave Melges photo. Great work.
There is some discussion about whether the images are overly “photoshopped.” Some people might be interested to know the first image (girl, hair, water) is not edited. That is straight from the camera.
That is insteresting. I though for sure it was photoshopped.
Yeah pretty much the same for mine. I have a few squares of Velvia 120 that is just as if not more saturated then this taken at the same time. Well actually after this one by 5min or so and they should be less saturated based on the loss of sun. They aren’t.
Oh well Zion has a cc Y .3 wratten because I was shooting for a black and white final and then liked this better.
Finally one more art-like picture with some meaning. Not that it’s particularily great, but here on SonyAlphaRumors, I think the shots are too often very good looking, but rather boring subjects. On FujiRumors there tends to be more work from a liberal art community.
Sorry, no Facebook for me – my privacy is more important. No matter how intresting those pictures may be – i learned the lessens from Snowden – it seems better to stay away from social media.
What do you think this is? You can see the pictures without joining no? I wouldn’t join either though if I wasn’t already there.
Those are some horribly overdone HDR images.. Juck!
HDR? No hdr buddy just proper exposure and knowing what time to day to shoot your location.
