It is my fault for not saving my pennies for the E-M5. Bad me. Coal in my stocking this year.
GX7 with kit lens is actually around $250 off its list price on Amazon ($852). Also the PL25 is $70 off at $529.
Where are those great europe deals? I’ve seen better prices in stores here then those on Amazon. And thats without discount.
Ok some are great deals but when imported into Europe most profit will disappear by taxes etc.
what i am hoping for:
A gx7 body for less then 800€ would be great.
or a em5 + 12-50mm kit for 700€
I wish there were a 12-50mm f/1.8 lens!
Could you deal with the sizeable size?
I wish there was a Santa Claus
$399 for the 17mm f/1.8… very nice 🙂
Yeah. I succumbed to the temptation. It was in my ‘Wish List’ and I suddenly noticed the 20% drop. Combined with the promo code of $55 that I had received from Amazon for the E-M1 purchase (4% reward), and the ‘Add to Cart’ happened automatically.
I not even sure I need this lens as I have the 12-35 f2.8 and the 20mm f1.7.
WOW, the G6 has already fallen under $500! Very soon it is going to be cheaper than the GH2 ever was to buy new.
I just bought the Pana G6 for $498 to replace my hacked GH1. If you resell the kit that comes with the camera for $150 you have a G6 body for only $348!
Any om1 deals?!
Sorry em1
Thanks. Just picked one up at US$626 shipped. What a bargain!
Responded to wrong post. I picked up the EM-5.
Canadians have an even better deal on the E-M5. It’s $659 at Aden Camera!!

Thanks. just picked one up for US$626 shipped. Amazing deal!
Henry’s in Canada has the 75mm and 14-150mm for $50 less than the US deals.
I had the E-M1 pre-ordered, but I couldn’t take the chance of possibly waiting till next year to get the body and pro lens. So screw it and I just ordered the E-P5 kit(black) and 75mm lens. I hope I like the Olympus system. I sold my Nikon D7000 and lenses for the switch, I did not trust the D7000 after having focusing issues and having it sent to Nikon for repair.
I ordered 2 EM1 (one is for my wife) on November 20 when I found they were available at Amazon. They just arrived. I am waiting for the 17 mm f 1.8 with the 100 USD discount. I am not buying the 12-40 pro since I have most of the Olympus primes. I am also using the metabones adapter for my Nikon lenses. Cannnot wait to get home.
If you are wondering how the GM1 is doing on the important Asian market according to DSLR rankings inspite of a price of $1200 in just a few days of availability it has jumped from over #200 to #18 (bronze),#59 (silver), and #67 (black) already equal to their GF6 model and when compared to all DSLRs and mirrorless. Don’t know that happened to the white GM1 sales as previously this was their highest ranked model? For comparison the GX7 is at # 67, and the G and GH models not even showing so Pany has a lot riding on the success of the GM1. Interesting while the EPM2 is selling well in Japan on fire sales again neither the EM5 or EM1 show in the current Japan sales rankings? Seems there is a significant difference in what is selling in Asia and what is selling in the market in the US and that is influencing greater availability and sales of certain models in the US.
