  1. First polish all the quirks and small shortcomings, THEN introduce cool new features. BM is becoming the Microsoft of video cameras. Too cool features good for demos and sales, not much daily solidity though. We want that first!

  2. Why is the first comment on a posting on a Blackmagic product about an Olympus one? What the hell is wrong with you Olyuser and the rest of the Olymplebs who can’t stop spewing O words from their mouths and keyboards continuously?

      1. I’m sorry, your post isn’t very coherent. What exactly are you attempting to say? It was the first and only comment when I originally looked at the thread.

  3. I would love to get a BM pocket cam. I dont think raw would be practical for me, as it prob takes too much space, anyone can enlighten me about this please?

    1. yes it takes too much space 🙂

Would not lik eto try editing 10hrs of RAW video down to a 30min doc! – that would require some BIG storage!

  4. Well, at first, Black Magic could try to sell the pre-orders? No? Because update are reaaaalllyyy niiiice. But if the camera is not on the market, I don’t get the point.

Oh yes. Annoncement, blablabla, BMC so great blablabla… 3 fuc…g month late!!!

  5. Sweet, this got put up. I informed 43rumours about it 😉

Am pleased to see this particular Micro Four Thirds camera is getting more coverage, is really shows how Micro Four Thirds is becoming the dominant mount for mirrorless cameras, not only does it have the widest range for still photography but it even is delivering at the cinema level (something which only the Sony E mount can compare with from all the mirrorless systems out there).

Oh, & and the raw BMPCC news gets EVEN BETTER!

Footage has now been uploaded online:

  6. Did they fix the white lite bloom/black spot thing yet? I remember hearing they said they were going to, but I never heard that they actually did.

    1. I have heard the blooming and black spots have been fixed in all cameras shipping since early September. Mine is on the UPS truck this morning, so I will know first hand RSN 🙂
