 photo shipping_zpsc21982db.jpg

Good news! It’s Friday afternoon and my weekend just began ;-)… and it started with a good news:

The X-T1 is already shipping in Japan. FR-reader Daniel just posted on the FR-facebook wall the image you can see above. He said that “It’s here! My X-T1 arrived yesterday! It’s beautiful, and smaller than I thought : )” He also already answered a question about the AF in the facebook comments. Check it out here on the FR-facebook wall.

have a good start in your weekend too
Patrick

  1. I would advocate for a global counter-clockwise release cycle so my BH Photo pre-order would be shipped a.s.a.p. 😉

  2. Although I like it, my guess is that’s not the camera strap that ships with the camera. Am I right? I’m new to Fuji and waiting for the XT1 to arrive. Haven’t heard any mention of the standard camera straps that come with Fujis – are they decent or do most people buy replacement ones? If so, any recommendations?

    1. I got a wrist strap from Gordy’s for my X100s and it looks gorgeous and very fitting on retro camera. I paired with with a ciesta leather covering and the color matches very well actually.

  3. Oh man… I live in Japan. If this snow storm doesn’t clog up the roads I may have to just get to a store tomorrow to fondle this baby…

  4. Can’t wait to see what they do for the XPRO2… It’s going to be SPECTACULAR. Fuji’s on fire right now, I don’t know what they’re feeding their designers and engineers, but it sure is working…

    1. For that price it should be made out of silk.

I bet I could make one (DYI) out of a 3/8″ solid braided MFP rope for pennies on the dollar. This might be a good DYI project this weekend.

  5. Curious to see tests of the weather sealing. People put the OMD EM1 in the shower for example and it survived well. Too bad there are no weather sealed lenses for a few months. Fuji should post some videos demonstrating the weather sealing so we can know.

    1. Are you volunteering? If you would let us all know how your X-T1 gets on in the shower it would be appreciated! 🙂

  6. great news! I’m waiting for X-T1 early adopters to throw their XE2 into the second-hand market for $600! fire me at will !! 😀

      Does it mean a XE1 for $300?

  7. Let’s ask the questions we all really want to know. When will Canada have it, and how quickly will my camera get from Canada to the US (with the free grip)?

    1. Kerrisdale Cameras in Victoria, BC told me March and that they hadn’t presold their entire order yet so I’m hoping to get mine in the first shipment. Grip included.
