  1. Where is the g5 deal???. I click on the link and theres no g5 with double lens at 478$???. What i do wrong? 🙁

    1. ? I see it. You have to select the camera and the lens. Add them to cart and you will get the rebate.

  2. $1019 for 12-35 looks good …until I add local VAT and customs of about $350, which in total is about $100 more than in local shops. So, it’s not a big deal 😉

  3. I thought that $499 was the normal price for the Pany 100-300; did it increase since a few months ago when I bought mine?

    Just curious.

  4. “The Panasonic Gh3 still sells for $1028 ”

Wow, the price fell 20% pretty quickly. E-M5 is still only 15% after about 1.5 years on the market.

      1. It dropped 20%?? OH NOES!!! PANASONIC IS CLEARING OUT STOCK!!! IT’S NOT SELLING!!! FIRE SALE!!!

Seriously though? 20% is not a big deal. A camera I brought in January for $2000.00 can now be had at $1600.00.

        big deal.

  5. DPreview now has a gear shop.. and guess what…. they are deleting messages like mad if you dare to say something about INDEPENDEND REVIEWS.

  6. Admin–
You need to start keeping (and posting!) price graphs on the more exciting products. It’s very helpful to see price drops over time to tell if the price drop is genuine, or just part of the normal yo-yo pricing routine.
I think price graphs would make for a really dynamic, compelling reason to check your postings every day, and buy through your links.
You wouldn’t have to work too hard on it–just use up some of that spare time you have.
    :o)

That’s what my boss keep on telling me. I will kill him one day! (:D)

The geizhals.de, Austrian/German price-matching site, already does something like this for listed products.

Probably you should check your local price-matching sites – they could be too already providing the service.

  7. With 6D selling for $1500 I think the original $1299 is too high, even comparative D7100/70D body is only $1199
