How could Kai have not mentioned C-mount lenses??
You can get a whole set of cheap C-mount prime for under $100 (25mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.7, 50mm f/1.4).
In my opinion they’re much more fun and useful than any of those he reviewed.

I do believe he was purposefully avoiding “real” lenses like the cctv lenses, I have the 35mm and I love it, but it is not really a toy lens in the sense he is using in this video, that is plastic strange and unpredictable. The only thing unpredictable about the C-mount is the flare. If this was just a “Cheap options for m43” video you would have to cover the vast range of legacy lenses that you can grab for under 100 bucks on ebay and get good results.
A “Cheap *NEW* options for m43″ video would be interesting, as it would just cover lenses you can buy immediately that are brand news.
vs finding them second hand, which can sometimes take hours of your time searching for them (and time is money!).

Kai is annoying. Does he ever have anything positive to say about any camera that he reviews? His reviews are always the same formula: blah blah, pretentious negative comment about the camera, perverted not funny joke, blah blah.

DigitalRev has always had somewhat bizarre reviews, and I think a good chunk of their 800 thousand subscribers tune in because Kai is an eccentric nut. Their reviews are more entertaining than they are informative.
CameraStore TV is presents things in a much more factual and straight ahead way, which is good if you are after a real equipment review.
I also like Blunty’s camera reviews, which are always hands on and he calls them like he sees them. ( he’s also good at getting his hands on gear before anyone else does )

The only worthwhile thing about this video was seeing the SLR magic mounted on the GX7, at least now I know how large that set up looks.

There are plenty of pro wanking on their equipment and pixel peepers become blind but I rather choose Kai and digitalRev ahah. Entertainment and unpredictability is guaranteed, you never know what you are about to see….a camera tossing in the air,or smashing on the ground,(come on everyone is there to see he dropping one admit it…)or a half decent review or a pro taking a crazy challenge and mastering it with some fun jokes (Jarvis and Zac to name a few….)

Agree with John,I enjoy Kai & I am not too impressed with the new camera. Terrible battery life & the AF falls short of expectations when used with 4/3 lenses which I think might be the only reason to buy one over the OMD & pay the premium. I think Olympus wasted an opportunity & would have gained more credibility if the E7 they teased us with was a reality. Started using my E3 again bliss.
