The V-Log would be welcome enough, but the unlimited recording time makes me think of selling my current GH4 and buying the R. The price is not as much as I had expected given all the claims about unlimited recording not being viable in Europe due to import duties. Hmmm….
We are talking about 4.9%.
But by the tie that 4.9% filters through to retail it ends up being more like 10%-15% or more.
Pana should offer a service to “upgrade” the plain GH4 cameras into GH4-R.
Is unlimited recording option across all MOV formats?
I bought my PAL GH4 in Australia where the 30min limit doesn’t exist (all PAL countries outside Europe don’t have a 30min limit) and I picked up the free version of V_log thanks to Panasonic’s software mistake. Thanks for the thought Panasonic, but don’t need the R version.
