Why so many pieces reconditioned from Olympus?
I am not aware reconditioning of other brands (Sony, Nikon etc)
I use Olympus and are satisfied but all these returns make me doubt.

They are not all “reconditioned”. It just says that for every item, because every item – no matter what its history (they can be products used by Olympus for demonstrations at shows, product returns by customers, or actually reconditioned, the latter is not too many actually) – gets checked, cleaned, and maintenance performed. They aren’t all “repaired products” at all. Some are practically new.

Please don’t call European currencies “bucks”. That hurts.
Is it me or does Olympus have way too many reconditioned products? Doesn’t inspire confidence in their quality control IMHO.
Is it me or are you just doing some FUD?

Don’t be a bloody smart ass! I can’t stand people like you online. :/
I have a legitimate question, since I am considering buying a Micro 4/3 camera. Also, I asked the question because of all the things I’ve read on grips coming off of the E-M1, etc.
These are from various sources (I’ve ordered many times at Olympusmarket). One, many are demo cameras that Olympus uses at various shows. Two, some are products that have been returned (for whatever reason) but are otherwise practically new. Three, only a part are actually refurbished products (i.e. had a defect).
It just says refurbished on every item because Olympus does check each of these cases, and performs cleaning, maintenance, etc.
It looks more like a clearance sale than refurbished products.
Read above.
Olympus lens hoods are supposed to be expensive. But this is now the second LH49 sold for over 300€… As the lenshood is mounted on the 60mm f2.8 and the description is in German, some poor fellow is going to get a nasty surprise 🙁
