      1. My dog Bobo has better English…of course, he uses a spell-checker on his iPad. He knows it’s actually “Furday.”

    1. Thanks for the well organised info.

However, I see NOTHING special in these discounts. Sure, there are discounts but nothing special. The E-M5 is probably the best deal out of all in this lists, but compared to what I bought it for a year ago (from an authorised dealter), it is only about $40 cheaper after a whole year and the camera is about to be updated.

    1. I’d rather have a 20-60mm f2.8-4 pancake
can’t understand why most Standard zooms start at 28mm equivalent
If wide angle, then a decent wide angle zoom like the 9-18mm
28mm is useless and 42mm at tele is just too short

        1. you didn’t get it…
People said, starting at 12mm is hard to make a decent lens, Panasonic makes it even a pancake-type

I don’t care about wide angle Standard zoom, rather have more tele

I didn’t ask for a fast lens, if I want to have the perfect bokeh, I buy the 45mm or 75… not a zoom

If pancake is impossible, well a collapsible will do as well… see Sony’s 16-50

  1. I ordered from B&H for more than two weeks. They just keep saying will be here any time. Just checked Adorama and they have in stock. Guess where I switched by order 🙂

  2. Thanks for the heads up. Amazon shows the E-M1 in stock and available to receive by Friday, yet my pre-order is showing a delivery date of 12/4. I just contacted them and they said there was “an issue” and they’ll fix it. They hope to “have it ship soon”. I better get it by Friday.

I wouldn’t put it past them to try and get new orders in and hope the pre-orders don’t notice!

    1. They don’t have a history of doing that. There probably is some “issue.”

Have you read “The Everything Store?”

      1. No, I have not read it.

I was a bit surprised. Their customer service is excellent. I use them for almost anything I order online, even if it’s not the best price, because I’ve always trusted them. Will keep you posted on what they do.
