Little update about the upcoming X-deal.
The anonymous source says the deal will start on November 15. I trust this rumor, because since now Fujifilm always launched deals on a Sunday, and November 15 is… a Sunday 🙂
The main course of the meal: a $300 rebate on the X-T1!
Currently there is the Fuji X-T10 in offer in USA:
X-T10 (price $699): AmazonUS / BHphoto / Adorama
X-T10 + 18-55 (price $999): AmazonUS / BHphoto / Adorama
X-T10 + 16-50 (price $799): AmazonUS /Â BHphoto / Adorama
X-T10 + 18-55 + 55-200 (price $1,399): AmazonUS /
X-T10 + 16-50 + 50-230 (price $999): AmazonUS

does that mean a new x-t is coming soon?
I hope so!
It means holiday buying season is coming.
It would not surprise me to see an X-T2 within the next 6 months or so using the same sensor and processor as the new X-Pro. This price drop may be a signal or it may just be trying to boost interest for the Christmas buyers.
Wait, I haven’t squeezed the best out of my X-T1 yet… 😉
Will the XF 35mm f/1.4 go back on sale for $399 again too?
Any chance the 23 1.4 or 14 2.8 will have an offer in Europe?

I live in Japan and just purchased an X-T1, 90mm and 50-140 lenses. Using the bargain below, I was able to get cash back on everything of 50,000jpy.
I have been waiting for a sale like this for some time now and decided this was my time to jump in.
Some may question my reasoning for choosing now to purchase the X-t1 so here is my reasoning. (I already own the X-Pro1 and X100s). After seeing the latest rumors about the X-Pro2 I see nothing that really is something that I want. I know this is next to blasphemous to say around here, but I don’t want or need anymore megapixels.
Looking forward to receiving my new toys on this coming Monday. 🙂
