Wow! The G5 is out already! Let’s hope the GH2 is next…
Well, I don’t blame him. It is easy to get the G5 and G6 mixed up. Although the new camera has some new cool features, they look the same and their IQ are also essentially the same. Check the techradar.com and cameralabs reviews. Nice camera, but the IQ not. Wait till December, and there should be a 40% discount, if it is like other recent Pansonic cameras with old sensors.

I received my G6 last Monday already, here in Switzerland. Been playing with it ever since. Definitely an improvement over my G3.
Hi, guys.
I have a strange problem with G5.
Sometimes (in the best moment, obviously) the shutter doesn’t respond at all in AFF mode, though the green dot is displayed to show that the focus is aquired. No change if disabling the focus priority – though the problem is somewhat less apparent when using JPG fine instead of RAW + JPG fine.
Does somebody have an idea what could be the problem?
I’ve just forgotten: AFF + Face detection mode.
