  1. Hard to get excited about the X-E2 at this point, it’s so far behind current X cameras, especially in terms of handling/autofocus, but, even image quality to a certain degree.

I really don’t think it’s worth this price and would caution against going for this offer. I think anyone would be much better suited by saving their money, looking for a deal (including refurb/used) on X-T1, or maybe even the X-T10 (but can’t speak to that as I have not used it.)

X-E2 is painfully slow and clunky by today’s standards.

    1. The x-pro1 is even more “slow and clunky”, but there is this something you can’t measure in technical terms that makes this dinosaur fun to use.

    1. Yep, I just prefer the rangefinder layout for comfort and usage; maybe because I have a big nose? 😀

SLR style layout seems so pointless on a EVF system.

I can go from tiny pocketable camera with the 18mm/27mm on the front to a do-anything zoom system just by screwing on the grip and attaching the 16-50 or 50-140. I do hope for the larger EVF on the X-E3 though.
