Wow, it’s really great to see all those hands required to assemble an electronic device.
Always these showy ugly white letters on the front!
I want a black body with black letters.
I can’t believe that the Fujifilm logo and the model number are hand inked! It’s amazing seeing how much hands on work is actually needed. Videos like this help me understand the high price of our luxury toys, besides the cost of high end parts such as sensors and and logic boards.
Same here. I replayed like three times the “inking” part in disbelief. I remember seeing in other manufacturing videos some sort of sponge simply zips over something like a screen and they are done in a second. But doing it by hand, that’s a surprise!
I particularly loved the “low-tech” hammer forming part of the computerized manufacturing process.
Buy some black paint and do it yourself?
Yeah, that’s precisely what I did with my Canon cameras.
I really enjoyed this video. Such care and attention going into making my camera. Thanks Fuji!
by far the most aesthetically pleasing camera I’ve owned. Good to know, even if this was not made in Japan like the x-t1, it’s given the same treatment in making it.
