  1. Can anyone speak from experience regarding shipping times after product
release dates in the past? Specifically in reference to Amazon. I am
leaving the country on the 20th. Would love to bring along a shiny new
XT-10, but kinda doubting it would arrive in time.

    1. It’s released on June 18th, so unless you get it overnighted on release day, it’ll be too late. And what if you get a defective unit? It could be a couple of months, depending on demand and supply. Pre-order started like 2 weeks ago. I don’t know, I waited for half a year for my D800, 2 months for my X-E1, 1 year for my Wacom tablet, and 2 months for my Sony NEX-5N (all pre-ordered soon after announcement). I hope I’m proven wrong, but I don’t have good experience with high-demand items. I would consider a used X-T1, which costs as much as a new X-T10.

      1. Thanks for sharing your perspective. Already have an xe1 so I’m not in a crunch to get something, but the autofocus issues can be very frustrating. I think you’re right about the used xt1 option. Better camera anyway I suppose.

  2. I’d like to see some fast action shots where there is not huge DoF (Effectively Zone Focused) as most of these are. Nice shots and they do illustrate that when the subject is majority of frame and lens is stopped down the system works well. I find my X-T1 has an easier time focusing on lone birds in flight than it has following a bird with lots of background material to confuse it.

    Thanks for sharing 🙂

    1. Agreed ! I can make a totally sharp picture of a fast-moving biker/whatever with my Rokinon fisheye set at f/8 and focused on infinity… WITHOUT AUTOFOCUS !

  3. I was in Yodobashi Camera in Shinjuku, Tokyo – the biggest camera shop in the country – last Saturday afternoon and they didn’t have the X-T10. If this one’s real, it’s come through unconventional sources.

  4. Already second hands… well, I assume someone didn’t like the concept after all ;-). Sorry, I can’t either, this is just a stripped down and ugly designed niche-oriented camera. Instead of that, we’d rather loved to see that Fuji had been making the jump to a next-gen X-trans era with a better and more capable sensor in the X-Pro2, or even X-T2 while the X-T1 had price-wise taken the place of this little monster.
