I want it so bad, there’s already reviews placing it as Sharp as the 70-200 L , to me its well worth the money
The review I’ve read place it far below 70-200 L II in terms of IQ. Are you talking about L I or is there another review?
dslrmagazine placed it more or less on par, with resolution charts. Lensrentals also got their hands on it and the results were very sharp
Photos from this seem so underwhelming…contrast and bokeh are just ok.
I think I’ll pass on this or wait for more samples. Really wanted this to be better.

Just to say that IMHO capacity to deliver sharp and contrasty pictures at f/2.8 from 35 to 100 is a fantastic achievement given the size. Now the question : do you need it ?
If the answer is ” yes ” then get it since you won’t get it until long time.
sucks cause, of the zoom range, speed and IS, plus being “pretty good” optically, i pretty much have to have this. Even though, the consensus is it could’ve been better and is over priced…
