Lawrence: “I’m a filmmaker that shoots Micro Four Thirds cameras and I recently shot a short film on the GH4 to submit to HBO’s Project Green Light. I didn’t see anything in the rules preventing me from sharing the video online so I uploaded it to YouTube and thought I would share it with you and my fellow readers. I am hoping the 4/3 Rumors community will enjoy it and support the film by sharing it, tweeting about it, blogging about it even screaming from the rooftops. Here’s a YouTube link.

Jessica again 🙂 “Not a rumor but just saw that the blog at http://footlessfish.com/ has been updated (last 3 posts) with some really great photos taken with the Nocticron 42.5mm lens on the GH4/EM1 and some amazing underwater macro with a Nauticam Super Macro Converter and Olympus 60mm lens.”
Marc: “My latest work shot with an Olympus E-M5 and the Olympus 25mm 1.8 lens. It’s a shop in Brussels left pretty much unchanged since the early 1960’s. Here is a link: http://marcprovins.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/golden-scissors.html”

That custom firmware for the EM-10 could be promising if he can find a way to make the EM-10 accept 1/8000th shutter speeds.

Best news in a while…
Lets hope we will soon see cool new features added to our beloved cameras 🙂
Yeah this really needs its own post. That is a big development for Olympus users. If they can get it up to the usefulness of the Panasonic hacks, I suspect there will be many happy Olympus users. Also, it would be cool if they focused on improvements on the stills side, something I wish they would do more with the Panasonic hacks.
Is it just me, or is that video of the 10mm Samyang is not sharp or clear at all? Maybe just poor encoding or compression……
