I got multiple mails from readers pointing me to the Eisa award 2013-2014 announcement. The E-P5 and the GH3 won a prize. But as I repeat every year, with full respect to the Eisa community…these prices always look like a bit “made up” so that every company gets at least one prize. While both the E-P5 and Gh3 certainly are well made cameras it’s hard to take these prize very seriously.
Anyway, here are the “winners” for each category:

Yawn.
Don’t yawn with mouth open
Price? Did you mean Prize?
Where is Pentax?!
I feel sorry for the cameras that didn’t win anything.
True 😀
2011-2012 European Professional Camera Pentax 645D. Looks like they failed to pay…..
Pentax fans keep nagging everybody with this question.

Make a wild guess!
So all these products are European ?
I can’t take this seriously – is the EISA Award a EU thing (also know as European Unhappiness)?
“So all these products are European ?”
Olympus, Panasonic and Fujifilm are well known european companies…

Awards are just a waste of everything.
Good thing they already gave away the prize for this year and 2014 so we don’t have to bother about it for a while!
its AUGUST 2013
… how can these be the best 2013-2014 cameras/lenses/etc. when we haven’t even started the rumors on the 2014 cameras/lenses yet?
Welcome to The Prize is Right! 😛
“(yes, the one prize where everybody wins).”
Not this year.
Sony NEX is not on the list – but Samsung NX is twice.
They were unable to sort out all their N’s X’s & E’s into the right order 🙂
Just look what canon win Hhahhahhahh
EISA awards are based on design and specifications, not tests.
Lumix shut make camcorder and leave photography
Canon = Panasonic. Crap sensors. Boring. For Vidiots. Touchscreen tappers. Apes.
