  1. For the same price you can get a proper camera like the canon T2i/T3i. Not only do the canons have higher resolution, better dynamic range, superior low light performance, better ergonomics, you could also buy at least 3 lenses on top of the camera instead of blowing your money on the overblown prices of any of the puny-sensor Olympus m43 offerings. (I know you Olympus fanboys won’t like hearing this but the truth hurts).

    1. It just goes to show that the world thinks a little differently to you and your opinions. The fact that the bids are made in such numbers belittles your claims, ideas and wants.
It should also show Olympus that by changing their price structure they may sell a lot of equipment.

      1. Makes you wonder where Canon went wrong at one time they dominated the sensor market.I am not sure .5 of a stop is spanking not when the last gen Sony 16mp APS has about a 1.3stop DR advantage over the E-M5.

I am a low ISO shooter and would love an mFT camera truly optimized for low ISO with a genuine 50 ISO setting.I am sure that some shooters live in high ISO land all the time but looking through any of the online photo storage sites Flickr,Pbase etc the vast majority of images posted are at low ISO.The 100,000 ISO mob have been well catered for come on Olympus /Panasonic ,I want a higher MP body with a real 50 ISO aimed at landscape/ architectural /studio shooters and no I don’t want a huge heavy D800 or any other DSLR for that matter.

    2. “the t3 is a proper camera”
that says everything about you, who you are, and what you actually know

    3. The dpreview studio tool tells a different story where the entry level Canon offerings lack 1 stop DR/HISO behind the E-M5.

    4. Canion t2i/t3i cameras have outdated sensors with terrible low-light performance, terrible dynamic range, combined with the microscopic viewfinder, terrible ergonomics and complete lack of dedicated lenses. No thanks.

      1. That’s quite true. I sell a lot on eBay and I am often amazed at the prices some things will sell for, sometimes at or above retail (before shipping!). I once sold a printer (new, won in contest) to a person in Florida for more than she could have bought it for by walking two blocks to the nearest Staples. Yes, I was so surprised that I looked at the location on g. maps. Even if the person were handicapped, it could have been bought online (for no tax and shipping) and delivered. I do understand people in limited or over-priced markets overseas paying more than US retail, but I’m not referring to those buyers.

    1. I sold my used, bought refurbished, out of warranty, MMF-3 adapter for 80 bucks last month at eBay. At that time, one could get a newly refurbished one with one full year of warranty from Olympus USA for just $50. And the shipping charged by Olympus USA is only 5 bucks!!!
