“Bought it, waited for it, love it, worth it!” that’s what FR-reader Mike Ryan said about the X-T1 Eye Cup over at the Fujirumors facebook page.
Well, it was a long wait, but finally the Long Eye Cup for Fujifilm X-T1 is widely available, for example at BHphoto, AmazonUS and Adorama.
For EU residents, I’ve checked AmazonDE, AmazonIT, AmazonUK, WexUK, WexDE, PCHstore, top-foto.de and a few more, but I couldn’t find it in stock for the regular price (just overpriced via third party seller at Amazon)
So, dear EU-residents, if you know some store that has them in stock, feel free to drop it in the comments.

Finally! It’s these little things that make all the difference in the world!
Sure would be nice if Fuji would make one of these for the X-E2, which needs it even more since the finder is at the edge of the camera. Since the X-T1 came out, Fuji has been treating the X-E2 like the bastard stepchild, and I don’t like it.
maybe you (and I) won’t get an eye cup, but you’ll get a nice firmware update soon 😉
In Germany, I found the Long Eye Cup at Saturn.de for a reasonable price.
Seems like amazon.de reads fr:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B00JR6UY2C/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1412265720&sr=8-5&pi=SL75
Strange price indeed.
In Germany best is to check with idealo.de several times a day 😉 – got mine yesterday from Fotokoch and meanwhile it’s out of stock again …
Beware of a problem. The long eye cup partially extends out too far and prevents seeing all the LCD screen when flipped out. If you like looking down at the screen flipped out, it will be in your visual path. For me, it was so bothersome that I reverted back to the standard eye cup. YMMV
Got my EC-XT L couple of days ago, and I beg to differ. No problem here, unless you intend to tuck the camera into your belly button 🙂
Any updates on availability in Europe?? Anyone know where to get one at a decent price without shipping from US?
If anyone else is looking for this in EU, I found it for €14,90 with free shipping at http://shop.besieroehling.de/fuji-ec-xt-l-augenmuschel.html
