interesting, if i order it to switzerland, they take off the tax and the price drops to 566 Euro (+ EUR 40 import tax = 606)!
Yes but then you pay the Swiss VAT (around 8%), + Tax service from the Swiss Poste and sometimes from the customs, so be aware! Sometimes it’s still cheaper to order in France and send the stuff to someone you know living in France than asking Amazon to send it directly in Switzerland

As the VAT in Switzerland is cheaper (sometimes more than 2times) than its surrounding countries, It may be interesting to have a look here (e-shop comparator http://www.toppreise.ch).
I confirm, I ordered it from Switzerland and the price was Euro 556.63 + 45.88 import tax + 6.92 shipping Total 619.43. It’s a very good price

No, it is the VAT (8%) + customs taxes + clearance fees. This is an estimated amount from Amazon. Finally, if the costs are less, Amazon refunded the difference. If the costs are higher, Amazon pays the difference.

766 is still a nice price, but personally I already have 14mm, so 10-24 is not my priority.

I just make a test, and delivery outside France is possible.
I test for Italy delivery, and you just have to add 6€92 for delivery and no import tax, since it’s in EU.
fujfilm lens are (often) sold after only one year up to 30 % less .
Maybe they sell too few and want to empty the warehouse.
It’s similar for other companies as well, Canon lenses are always much more expensive if you buy them straight after they are released.

I got it this morning for 685.93 euro incl postage to UK this morning. That equates to 555 pounds sterling. Ìt sells at wexphotographic uk for 799. Even panamoz charge 679. Guess I got a bargain.
