Strange thing about cameraland is that they always say that tose items where open to show customers in store….but they keep coming up with these same deals…so hame many of those 23mm ended up being open at the in-store event.

I just bought a 56 from them 10 minutes ago, so I guess I will find out. They have 4 left at $869.
Hi, don’t get me wrong though, cameraland is a brick and mortar storee in NYC and I’ve even bought from them. But these sales with the lenses keep popping up and it always say the same thing, that they did and inshore event and so on… so i just wonder.
Ordered lens last week – It was never marked as shipped on ebay. Sent a note to cameraland asking for confirmation of shipment and have heard nothing. Expected delivery date is tomorrow so we will see.
another FR-reader ordered the 56 at cameraland, received it with a bit of delay (he said because of FedEx fault), and just send me his first shots with the 56 (see here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/planalpha/ ). So keep faith, your lens will come… and drop me an email as soon as it arrives 😉
After the second time I contacted the seller (a week after it was purchased and paid for) I was notified by ebay that the item shipped. The seller never responded to my messages. I did receive the lens 11 days after purchasing which was frustrating, but it is in like new condition and I am thrilled with it. I just wish the seller was able to meet the expected delivery date given in the auction and communicated if there was a delay. And THANKS for a great site. Keep up the great work.

Do you also have the XF 35mm F1.4? Cause I have it and I just wanted to know how this new one performs in terms of sharpness and AF speed.
This must be cutting into their profits.
Ordered 23mm f1.4, will see how it goes. i was thinking calling B&H to see if they can price match but they closed for couple of days.

Did you guys who ordered this, received it yet? Mine was suppose be here by Oct1st but none has shown up. No email from the seller as to if it shipped or not. Today I will try to contact the seller.
