Well, this is great. It is too bad they don’t just discount the lenses by themselves and make those of us who already switched even happier. Seems like they just want the switchers but don’t care about those who already made the move. Fuji, what’s up with that?
I agree….I already have a camera. I would love to save 2-300 off of a lens!!
No idea why you’d think they should do that. They’re incentivizing sales of the XP1 and XE-1 by offering bundled discounts. It’s about moving bodies, not lenses.
Though not easy to find, online sites like Craigslist often have great deals on like new and new equipment from private parties hard-up for cash. I just bought a brand new in box Sony RX100 today for $400 on Craigslist Los Angeles. Retail is $649.95 + tax.
People selling fuji lenses aren’t common but they exist if you’re diligent. I picked up a 60mm fuji, lightly used, from a nice old guy for $400 on a local classified site and I constantly look for a bargain on the 14mm.
